De meeste krukken voor alledaags gebruik op het Chinese platteland werden gemaakt van onbewerkt hout en een simpele constructie, maar in de rijkere huizen was dat anders. Deze mooie krukken in onze collectie reflecteren het stijlvolle meubilair uit het oude, Europees aandoende Shanghai.

Deze krukjes kunnen goed dienen als zitplaatsen of als bijzettafeltjes. Zet je ze bij elkaar in een groepjes, dan kunnen ze ook nog eens een interessante salon tafel vormen aangezien elke kruk uniek is!

Het hout is een beetje verweerd door de tijd en de kleuren van de krukken variëren tussen lichtbruin, donkerbruin en een verweerde zwarte kleur.
